2 Data Accessed and Processed
- Camera frames and images selected by the user from the photo library are processed locally on the device so Argyo can analyze colors and generate results. Images are not uploaded to any server.
- Saved color history, preferences, and accessibility settings are stored locally on the device, including color values, labels, timestamps, and optional thumbnail paths.
3 Purposes of Processing
- To analyze colors from live camera input and user-selected images, entirely on-device.
- To save color history and restore preferences needed for accessibility and product functionality.
4 Third-party services and transfers
- No analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or remote color processing service is included in the app. Color naming is fully local.
- In-app purchases are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Argyo does not receive payment method details.
- If the user manually exports a file through the operating system share sheet, the selected recipient app or service handles that data under its own privacy policy.
5 Security measures
- Argyo stores history and settings in local persistence layers inside the app sandbox on the device.
- Permissions for camera and photo library are tied to related features and can be refused by the user.
- No method of local storage is completely secure, especially once a user exports a file outside the app.
6 Retention and deletion
- Local history and settings remain on the device until the user deletes entries, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.
- The developer does not retain any server-side copies of data, as the app is designed to store everything locally.
7 Privacy choices and user rights
- Users can use the app without creating an Argyo account.
- Users may refuse camera or photo library permissions; color analysis features will then be unavailable.
- Local history can be deleted from within the app settings or by clearing app data through the operating system.
Users may exercise GDPR rights including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection by contacting the developer through the support channel listed on this site. Because Argyo keeps all data locally on the device, most rights are exercised directly through device controls and local deletion.

Google Play Data safety and Apple App Privacy labels may use narrower definitions of “collect” that focus on off-device transmission. Argyo is designed to be fully on-device; in-app purchases are the only external service, handled by Apple and Google. The iOS build may contain a microphone usage string reserved for future features; the current live camera flow does not use audio. Store disclosures must remain aligned with the actual released build.
9 Store disclosure note
This page is intended to remain publicly accessible and reusable as the Privacy Policy URL for app stores, while the Google Play Data safety form and Apple App Privacy answers must stay aligned with the actual released build.
